Finished units at Red Frog

Does anyone know how many villas are finished at Red Frog? And where are they putting the guests who go down on the exploration tours?

Based on information I saw related
to a meeting of current owners, there are ten (10) finished villas:
Lots 48
11
12
65
34
27
19
26
30
33
The list did NOT include Lot 4--which is the model and is clearly finished-- serving as
the sales office.
I seem to also remember hearing
from RF management that they have 10 units finished.

I do not know how many of them are in the rental program.

Please note that 1o villas very well have, however I know of several that are not fully finished "due to the strike" and have multiple "Punch List Items" remaining to be corrected/finished. Along the theme of construction, I pointed out to Scott Harris, that after viewing photo's of our villa dated from Feb.07, that drywall material was defective on over hang areas of our Tortuga model. I have checked with several builders here in the US, and drywall is not a product that should be installed in a humid/wet climate, such as RFB. Scott said he would forward that observation to the construction team and get back with me at the right time. If any other owners are close to this construction stage, when work begins again, please voice your concerns that this material should not be used on the exterior of your villa.

Tasboy,

Can you please clarify your statement. Are you saying that of the 10 completed villas, many have punch list items which can not be resolved because of the strike delay?

The correct finished villa tabulation is as follows:

04 is used as the Red Frog Sales Office, 11 is owner occupied, 19 is rented from time to time, 26 is occupied as living quarters by the Red Frog Property Management, 65 has been rented once as has number 48. All others, including several 'closed' villas were, and are, unfinished and unocupiable prior to the strike.

All villas, including the ones listed above, use dry wall, mud and paper tape inside and out. All show water and mold damage. Some sever and some less so. A tour last month smade it clear that all existing roofs and/or drywall will require replacement or substantial rework. The Costa Rican supplier of roof tile panels suggested as much during a walk about in May.

In addittion to the basic water damage from leaking roof tile panels, the rain penetrates underneath the eves which are unsealed whenever there is an ocean breeze.

Red frog are on record as intending to fix these fundamental design/construction problems.
